What is Salata Salad Kitchen?
At Salata Salad Kitchen you’ll find fresh options for lunch and dinner to help you maintain your healthy lifestyle. Salata offers small and large salads, or a salad wrap, plus all the yummy items to complete your meal – three flavors of soup, 5 flavors of tortillas and a tasty multi-grain roll. With dine-in or carry out options, Salata can accommodate your busy days with healthy choices … quick ones!
Let’s talk … SALAD!
Salata boasts a variety of fresh lettuce mixes as well as more than 50 toppings, from the expected tomatoes and cucumbers to choices that will entice your taste buds, like jalapeno’s, tangy feta cheese, a variety of beans, fruit and nuts. Add in your protein choice, like quinoa, tofu or chicken seasoned 4 different ways, or even shrimp or salmon.
Ten different dressings are on the menu for your healthy creation, from a fresh herb vinaigrette (it’s to die for!) to classics like ranch, Caesar, and honey mustard. Watching your calories? No worries – Salata offers two scrumptious fat free dressings: fat-free mango, at 35 calories when used in a wrap or small salad, and fat-free sundried tomato, a mere 15 calories when used in a wrap or small salad. How divine!
A Little Dessert? Yes, Please!
After enjoying all that healthy goodness, you may be too full for dessert, but those with a sweet tooth can take heart. Salata offers cookies and sea salt caramels to satisfy your cravings for something sweet at the end of your meal!
A Modern Day Success Story
The first Salata location opened in October 2005, when restaurateur Berge Simonian noticed a major climb in sales in the salad making sector of the downtown Houston restaurant he had owned and operated since 1994. Since then, there are 65 restaurants open in Texas, some offering catering and most offering online ordering.
When can we enjoy this healthy goodness?
Salata’s Stacy Green location is scheduled to open in late April/early May. We can’t wait!
